At The Fenton Art Festival , patrons can not only buy art from regional artists, they can watch art being made, and create some art themselves!

What You'll Find

Art activities will be located in the Paseos that link parking areas to Fenton Main Street.

Look for public festival maps when you arrive so you won't miss any of the fun!

Public Mural Painting

Drop in and paint a mural that has been pre-planned by local artists Arianne Hemline

Collaborate on a public art piece

Add your brushwork tot a. large canvas set up by Raleigh CoLab. See how it turned out at the close of the festival

Choose the People's Choice Award

Visit the Info Tent on the Fenton Lawn and vote for your favorite artist booth. The winner will be declared at the close of the festival

Take an Art Class

Instructor Jamie Lynn Moore will teach a class in mixed media using gelli plate printing and collage. Registration required.

For ages 13 and up.

Backyard Art party- for KIDS only

Led by teachers from Lune Spark, kids can sign up in advance to take a drawing or watercolor class on the lawn at The Allison. Pre-registration required. Link coming soon

Demonstration Alley

Three nationally recognized artists will demonstrate their craft in demonstrations in one of the Paseos. Featured artists are Maureen Scullin, Kevin-John and Shalimar Waffa. Visit their websites for a sneak peek at their work.
